There is new game mode that follows 10 of Jordan’s NBA Career accomplishments called “Jordan Challenge”. In MJ: Creating a legend, 2K players will take control of MJ as a NBA rookie and take him to legendary status on any NBA squad. Player will see Michael Jordan begins his NBA career by playing a number of years in the NBA as he ages. You must complete all the Jordan Challenges for you to unlock this mode. There will be trophy awards of collecting pairs of nike Air Jordan shoes that MJ wore throughout his career and get special attribute bonuses when you equipped the classic MJ shoes.

Also included in NBA 2K11 is the ability to play with some classic teams from the past. Just like in previous NBA 2K games you can play with teams in exhibition mode and association mode. 2k11 will also have classic venues for the classic NBA teams.
